Basically you craft a block of clay and soulsand into your very own clay soldiers, that you can dye into separate colors/factions that will fight against each other. Leather= Leather armor chestplate. Food= For eating. Gold Ingot= Designate the king. Lightstone Dust= Glow in dark clay people Sulfer/Gunpowder= Explosive awesomeness. Sugar= Increased speed. Clay Lump= Revive teamates. Dirt Horse= HORSES. Oh and if your wondering why my inventory has all those weird slots uptop, its from the aether mod I had installed(which is FREAKIN sweet).
